Tunisia hosts Arab Radio and Television Festival

Media professionals from across the Arab world gathered Saturday night in Tunisia's coastal resort of Hammamet for the 14th Arab Radio and Television Festival, TAP reported on Sunday (July 12th). In his opening speech, Arab Broadcasting Union chief Salaheddine Maaoui stressed the need to promote audiovisual production capabilities in the Arab world. The festival features 133 television and 181 radio programmes.
